wow that sucks because cost wise an all pioneer/premier system would be excellent..

I think it's Rockford Fosgate. Go with RF for subs and Infiniti for mids and highs.
But my answer would be (ay1) aka Aaron from Scion Kreationz. He is a car audio specialist that teaches mobile electronics and what not! He'll tell you exactly what you need. Look him up here ay1 is the screen name. Hope that helps!

if you do an all pioneer do the premiere line as the regular sucks. bad quality; not much bass; not much life span

Pioneer makes solid products. I wouldn't trust the Best Buy people..... Your best bet is to go shopping around to stores that have alot of audio equipment on demo and listen to everything for yourself.

Pioneer equipment and JBL speakers is what I would go with.

If he's pushing Rockford Fosgate you know he doesn't know much on car audio. They aren't bad products mind you, but are extremely overpriced for their performance. Does Best Buy have commission?

I've had pioneer stuff before, they make a decent head unit but their subs don't cut it. I'm not sure if their new slim subs are good or not, they have removed the traditional spider and are using what they call an air suspension. A lot of people like the AVIC-Z3 in-dash navigation unit too. I don't really know about their amp lines.

For your system, are you looking for just full sound or something you can here 1/2 mile away? Not everyone needs two 15"'s and 3000W. Also, are you looking to make a box or buy one?

I myself have an Alpine reciever because I've had the best luck with them. Also, they are expandable via the Ai-net port on the back for bluetooth, satellite, etc and even have a seperate iPod connector. For subs and amps, I went JL Audio, though I bought online, used and eBay because they are insanely expensive from authorized dealers. They are the only ones I've seen where the power is constant from 1-4 ohms and 11.4-14.8 volts. Nothing is worse than buying a 600W amp only to find it's only 600W at 1 ohm, and you're stuck at 4 ohms where it only puts out 150.

There is nothing wrong with Pioneer equipment. The cheap crap that pioneer makes that they sell at wal-mart and inside bestbuy stores YES does suck, but there good stuff the champion series and up is very nice..and imo there componets are awsome.

I've got the Pioneer AVH-P4000 DVD double Din Head unit and A Pioneer TSSW- 3041 for a sub. I still have the stock speakers because those mids and highs are pretty good already from factory. I did use memphis for the amps because i saw alot of bad reviews on some of the pioneer amps for this set up.

Its really a personal thing but i stayed with pioneer to keep it looking like its from factory, (even though we know its not).

I love my pioneer system and plan on expanding it more.

^Then go ahead and get an all pioneer system if that's what you want. Nothing wrong with the brand, and your opinion is most important for your system, don't worry about what others might say/think, if you like it then it's good for you.

It's all up to you on what you want and or get. I have an ALL Pioneer setup man, from the amps, to the subs, even the mids and highs. As well as an AVIC-Z1 and I've had it all for 3 years with not one problem. Not to mention the amazing sound that I've gotten out of it all. I've won multiple show's with my sound and have disappointed many 2nd placers because they didn't know great sound can come from such an inexpensive product and small car like the xb. I say go for it, I did and I'll never buy anything other than Pioneer from now on. Oh, and the only thing that I have that's Premiere is the tweeters. They are a quality audio manufacturer and I trust them to the fullest. Good luck.
