Do the headlights turn off after awhile once you get out and lock the car? I have the Scion Security, but I always just turned off my headlights . If I get out and lock the doors will the headlights turn off by them selfs after a period of time. My 2000 Honda Accords headlights turned off after about a minute and it you hit lock twice they turned right off. Does this happen with the Scion?

our headlights are constant POSITIVE and they use a 'ground wire' as a 'remote' or 'trigger'.
just redirect your ground wire.
use a relay to channel a negative output ONLY when the car is on(acc or whatever).
that way when u turn off your car, your headlights turn off regardless.
downfall is, u can't turn on the lights unless the key is turned.
i have my foglights hooked up this way and it works great.
i just hope thats 1 way of helping u. to actually do something like 1 min delay or wahtever, u'll need to use timers(555) and relays just to do that, cuz it has to sense your car OFF and the door ciruit
