Headunit help
I purchased my xB used. It came with with wiring and subs installed... but no amp (all attached to the stock deck). I set out to buy an amp, and got an 800W one. Now when i attached it, only one of the ports on the inline converter works! The other one doesnt work. Is there a way to fix this?
Do i need to buy a new inline converter?
Or would it be more beneficial to buy a new headunit altogtehor.
What are the benefits of a headunit?
Does it make it sound better?
And, is the headunit easy to install your self?
Hope someone can help me... thanks=]

huh? What do you mean by inline converter? How was your other stereo pushing subwoofers with no amp? I mean it's possible, but kind of um not smart.
I think you should go on crutchfield and read just some basic amp wiring diagrams, and if you're interested in buying a new headunit that's a good place to start as well.
Installation on an XB is novice level for the stereo, medium for front doors, and advanced for rear speaker panels (based entirely on manual labor).
