Default i need a better sun visor

Has anyone found a way to add an extender to their sun visors? Or maybe a full replacement that fits the xB?

My biggest problem is sun hitting straight into the driver window...visor just isn't long enough to block off entire width of the window, and you know how far back we sit in the xB cause it's so roomy.

If I get desperate I'm just going to fold some poster board and make a sleeve over the existing visor. Pull it out a little to increase coverage when needed.

Or ESAMS... those will block some, but not all.

That's actually not a half bad idea. Try it with poster board and if it works remake it with something more durable.

I've had the same issue you have, and haven't come up with a brilliant solution yet.

Default sunvisors for xb

Check out the Walter Drake.com----Catalog on line and look in the auto accessories. I used these extended sun visiors on my '06-xb and now I am using them on my '08- very good and they are not expensive.......They will send you a catalog or shop on line or call them........Good luck!

I'd like to find a tiny visor that comes down above the rearview mirror. I think Mercedes Benzes have those.

For that I've seen people put a small rectangle of very dark tint there. If you do it carefully it is clean and not obvious from outside and from inside it cuts the glare there pretty effectively

I would like to find some sun visors that actually have mirrors on the back... that don't make me giggle everytime I flip them down. The first time I flipped down my visor needing to look into the mirror all I could see was one eyeball looking back at me.
