Just got in my car and popped in a cd and music is only coming out of my subs and nothing else. I took the h/u out and made sure all the connections were tight, and also unhooked it to reset it. still nothing out of the highs or mids. anyone ever had this happen. it is an alpine mp3 h/u

 

i dont mean to be stupid but did you make sure that your using a wireing harnest?? and also did you make sure that your speaker connections are correct? if the HU is turning on you didnt blow a fuse but thats all i can think of, also make sure your using crimpers when putting the wires together and also make sure your not grounding out any where. good luck

 

Have you checked out all the fuses? Maybe a setting in the actual HU?? Just saying..

 

Are you running a amp to them?

 

Check out the back of the Alpine and see if there is a fuse there that operates its internal amplifier that drives your midranges.
