Default HELP! I'm having issues making my LED's work!

First off, I've tested all of my leds w/ a 9v battery, and they are all in working condition... My question is how do I connect all the different items up to the switch, so that it will work?

I've got a diagram of all the items needed, but I need to know what goes where.

I trust you car-gods can help a brutha out.

If they are pre wired with resistors to work with 12 volts all you do is connect all the grounds (Black) together to ground.
Next you find a power source either the battery or a accesory inside the car add a fuse run a wire to one terminal on the switch then off the other terminal you run to the positive (Red) on the LED's.

Make sence?

Default wire LED's

Just what Scott said, except you show 3 terminals on the switch, so it can be one of two types.
If its a light up switch, one terminal will get a ground, one for power input (the one with the fuse) the other for load, or the one that powers the LED"s

If the switch does not light up, and has these markings on the back: NO NC C
C is common, or your power into the switch. And NO is normally open. that's the one that will power the lights from the switch.
A little crude but, hope this helps.

I have 2 different switches one that lights... one that doesn't.... but just for the sake of this, lets go ahead and say I'm using the lighted one...

So first step, I connect all the black wires together.
Then the reds go together...
And the Power goes to the last terminal?

Cause if that's right, I've tried that, and it hasn't worked for me...

(Can anybody photo-shop my image to try to get me to understand it a bit more?)

Whats a GOOD power source. and not the Ad-a-circut BS. Don't say anything you've already wired in, cause I have nothing. Don't say anything thats not stock.

I've heard the Cigerette lighter works, but it has two black wires how would I do that?

Robs diagram is exactly right. All the reds go together and all the blacks can be grounded to the body. Then just ground the switch and run your fused 12 volts to the switch. I have 4 leds wired like this and they work fine. BTW, my leds came from Oznium.

i just ran a fused distribution block off my battery threw the firewall with 8ga and then into my own custom made distribution bolck 1 8ga in & 8 14ga out. im only using 2 of the outs right now, i made it that way so wouldn't have to run anything thew the firewall again. the power wire then goes to a switch (not grounded) and then to my LEDs. i have 2 LEDs in each one of my oh s##t handels. 4 on one side are grounded to gether and the other 4 on the other side are grounded to gether. that all runs off one switch.
i also have 6 LEDs under the seats and each side of the dash with 1 in each cup holder that runs off another switch.

its always good to keep your grounds short and not alot grounded to the same point.

i also have LEDs in the HVAC controles and the radio but thats all wired in to them selves so that its controded by the ignition and the dimmer. i don't have pics of that yet.

if you go to the tech section, there is a write up on this already.
Its about wiring cathodes & LED's.

I see you got it working...
