Help with somewhat confusing subwoofer wiring

Default Help with somewhat confusing subwoofer wiring

I have two 4 ohm DVC Kicker CVR's in a sealed box woth two sealed chambers so i can't wire them together. i was wondering if i wire each sub to 2 ohm's and plug both subs into a mono amp will the amp load be 2 ohm's?

BOth the websites show the subs wired to each other and my box has two sealed chambers so i can't

I just checked the wiring for your 2 x DVC 4 ohms and if you were to wire them in Series/Parallel you would get a 4 ohm load and if you were to wire in the Parallel/Parallel you would get a 1 ohm load.
So I guess the answer to your question would be no!

My suggestion is to "mate" the two boxes together and eliminate the terminal cups or add another cup to each box, one for each voice coil. It will look messy but it'll work. Otherwise, just buy a new box. They're not expensive.
