Default help with subs

Audiobahn AW1251 SE sub . 12" dual voice coil , you think it should "slump"?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Pioneer 12" dvc

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...762845643&rd=1

Pioneer Premiere 12"

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...763115268&rd=1

Which is the better sub and which is the better deal? I am running a pioneer gmx-862 760 watt amp. Please don't pressure me into something else , unless you think I can do better for the same money . Thank you for all help.

I'd go with the 2nd option. I'm not a real fan of the Audiobahn product. I have heard those Pioneers and they actaully sounded pretty decent.

I think Audiobahn is better known for their amps than subs. I do like the work they do on the baskets though. The flames are tight, especially on the eternal and immortal series. Haven't heard many of there subs to compare though.

The price on the subs your looking at seems pretty decent.

i put my vote on audiobahn; not only do the look better (just a bonus) they are manufactured w/stronger parts (basket/spyder weave/coil leads etc.)

I was going to go with an all audiobahn setup until I got a good deal from phatfront on his custom box and Cadence sub/amp setup.
I would say go for the audiobahns.

wow , so divided , lol the magnet is larger on the pioneers but the price is higher .... hmmmm I wish I could hear them side by side , oh well. I know the audiobahn did well by customer reviews from circuit city , any more idears / help / opinions? I want the most knock for this amount of money , also want something that sounds good , I listen to lots of rock but when I do i love to feel and hear that bass kick and I also frequent rap/r&b and love to thump down the street , I know a single 12 can't do all that much but still , thanx again guys continue to post up.

you can get memphis subs on ebay for cheap....and boxes for them are small. a normal ten inch box for a 10in sub, works great for a 12.

Why don't you go for a JL 12w3. They are cheap on ebay and are way better than all three of those.

I know you said you didn;t want any other options but for the price these are great subs.

http://www.xplodsony.com/products/?C...s&MD=XS-L121P5

I have two for sale if your interested. They have better max handling than either of those and i'm willing to sell them for 80 bucks shipped for 2. They are 1200W subs each one. Those subs you have listed are 1000W subs and are also more expensive.

Be carefull with buying audio equipment on ebay ... 99% of thoes guys are not Authorized sellers and you will not get a Manifacture warranty ... they may be cheap but if you have a problem with some equipment Pioneer will say "owell" you didn't buy from an Authorized dealer! Something it pays to spend alittle more money and get it from an Authorized dealer so you can get the Manifacture warranty!

On the speaker note ... I never really liked Pioneers. I had Audiobahn stuff in my old Honda and I think there is more show to them then go. I would look into Alpine or JL. Both thoes companys are geared more towards Sound Quality then towards making the speaker look good. I have an Alpine Type-X in my Scion and it kicks ___. The bass is real clean and the sound quality when the bass is low is awsome. The Type-X is expensive but I have also heard the Type-R's which are chaper and they also kick ___. My friend has 2 Type-R 12's and they ROCKED hard! JL stuff always kicks ___! I had a JL 10w6v2 before my Type-X and it some LOW notes and sounded awsome!
Hope this helps!

well i bought a pioneer HU on ebay that needed service and i just took it to a local electronics shop and they took care of the warrenty. all i did was show them my receipt. Pioneer actually have local shops that fixs your stuff instead of you sending it back to the factory.

Yeah I've bought re-furbished decks this way in the past , very reasonable prices for great products
