What about with HID? Has anyone been harassed at inspection because you had them.

Holy poop, I have nothing to say except that's not the kind of beam pattern you're supposed to get with an HID setup.

How did your headlights look before you stuck them in? You basically just changed your lightbulb, so what you're aiming for is a beam pattern that matches your stock headlights. Your beam is jumbled around, there's a lot of glare above the cutoff and there are hot spots where it's brighter than the rest of the beam.

Here's the beam pattern on my car.

i forgot to mention that one of the bulbs, the glass is broken, its going to b replaced on tuesday so that most likely is why on the left side u can see it making a circle shape, also the car is pretty close to the garage door, i will try and take a pic of it away from the door, and jeez in person it doesnt look bad at all, alot of my neighbors and friends really like it. sigh

i'm sure it looks great but it annoys other drivers on the road. and you lose a lot of the benefits because the light is not concentrated and goes all over the place.

again, i'm sure they look good and are bright, but if you really want it to work like it should, you'll need to retrofit some projectors in the housing. it's the best way for you as well as everyone who has to drive around you. there are people on this site who have done it but from my understanding it's a pretty big undertaking for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with fabrication. if you can't do it, i'd pull them off, put them somewhere safe, and wait until someone makes a projector for the tc you can buy.

don't you hate it when some jerk opposite traffic is straight blinding you with hid's? don't be that guy.

Well at least you got the right attitude. Most people would be like well F**K everyone else. Projectors in the Tc headlights isnt really hard. I/'ve done one Xb (mine) and 2 Tc's. The first time it took me a total of a weekend...but i have access to a shop i can work in with tools, metal for mounts, and fiberglass and adhesives galore. If i still lived in florida id hook you up man but i moved to B.F.E Kentucky.

anyone with HIDs in the stock housing have issues with them? being too bright, light pattern being off? im considering them because my other cars have them, and im so used to them, i drove myTc for the first time the other night, all i can say the stock lights are crap compared to HIDs
