How do I disassemble the xA front console?
Hey guys,
I know there is a tutorial on how to disassemble the xB's front console floating around, but it doesn't seem to be the same for the xA. I've tried taking it apart, but I haven't been able to. I want to change the bulb for the little cubby whole (easy bake oven). The housing for the bulb has clips, but they seem to be pretty hard. I don't know if I'm supposed to take it apart the console first, or what. Help

The oven is held in place by 4 screws. The lower ones are farther back.
First thing to remove is the silver accents on each side.. pop those out with a screwdriver and youll be able to reach all the other console components.. I think there are 5 separate ones.
You MAY OR MAY NOT.. cant remember, have to remove the accents on top (the 2 round ac vents) and then pull off the ac controls... I know this must be done for the radio, but cant remember how far down the console you need to go.

the oven comes out w/just those four screws and the bulb size is 194...kragen had red and blue ones when i went there today.
after you take off the two main silver pillars in the xa, just about EVERYTHING is accessable from that console, with the exception of the radio/a/c area. To get to those, take off the two ***** from the a/c (turn all the way left and pull, the other all the way right and pull) and then unscrew all 4 screws and pull up, it'll all come off (freaked me out when i did it)

Actually, this was a very old thread. I posted the topic before I was even a moderator. I ended up posting a tutorial later on... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37733
