Default How are your fogs hooked up?

I got my fogs from the dealer, they put a switch, not lighted? And they only come on when head lights are on? Do you guys have a lighted switch and do yours come on without the lights being on?

I hate it when run fogs without the normal driving lights. Reminds me of the ugly SATURN daytime running lights.

Did the fog light kit from the dealer come with everything that you need to install them? (i.e. Swith, Wiring, Plugs, etc.) ..... Also, How hard is it?.....Is the car prewired for the foglights?....

Thanks guys

It should all come with it. Check out www.partznet.com or www.toyotaparts4u.com for best prices.

Here's the overboost article:

yes, everything is prewired. Takes 5 minutes to install if you know where everything is at - hardest part is plugging the relay into the fuse panel and that's only becuase you have to turn upside down to do it (boo-hoo.)

if you have JDm fogs, you will have to hotwire the switch to operate as the JDM switch and the USDM socket do not match up

Hey guys.. are the xAs as plug and play as the xBs or do you have to run some wiring for them?
