I have the iPod upgraded radio and it doesn't work...
I upgraded my radio to the iPod set-up. It is supposed to see the iPod once conected and Scion is supposed to be displayed on the screen of the iPod.
Well, I have tried mine, my wife's and a freind's to no avail. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or is it simply a deal where the dealer messed something up in the connections?
Are the iPods too old to be used? One's a 4th generation, one's a mini and the other is a mini, as well....

Yup, but it is supposed to recognize a connection once the iPod is connected. I pressed AUX and nothing. This is connected via the iPod connector - not the AUX connector.
This is what the iPod upgrade is supposed to be able to do... Tune the iPod from the radio unit.

maybe the dealer forgot to hook up the jack underneath the console, or on the back of the head unit?
Pop the little piece of plastic off that holds the jack in the console and see if its connected like its suppose to be. If its not connected, hook it up and hopefully thats all it was. Save alot of time by not having to mess with the dealer....
If it is connected, then I would take it to the dealer like everyone else is saying.

On a side note, what are you guys using to secure your iPods in your XB? I'd like to find something like this:

Anyone using something similar?
