Default interior lights not working big problem or blown fuse?

while tapping into my cubby hole light wires for my boost gauge, i must have touched something together by accident. during the interim of this my gauge cluster and interior back lighting (center console) went out. please tell me this isnt a disaster and that its just a fuse . i checked all the small fuses, and none of them seem to be blown. does anyone know where the fuse is that might be blown? thank you for your help and i apologize for the lack of searching.

There is a guide in the back of the manual, which describes where most of the locations of the fuses are...

Wow, that's quite a hunt to find that guy I see. Thanks for heads up.

How's it working now?

I have same problem. Its the "TAIL" fuse. Well, I replaced it, and it keeps blowing. Anyone know all the things that this fuse uses, so I can try to find the short?

Did you by chance replace any bulbs with LED's?If so remember a LED is a diode one way it works the other it is a short.

nope. The only thing added to my computer is my car computer... but nothing connects to anything but the cigarette lighter and the battery.

Maybe something is pinched by the radio!? I put in a car2aux adapter to the stock radio a few weeks back.

Could a blown bulb be shorted!?

If you have not changed anything recently, I would disconnect the tail lights and try a new fuse,if it does not pop I would inspect the bulbs and sockets to isolate which one, but, if it still pops,I would reconnect the tail lights and I would disconnect the front markers and try again.Repeat with all exterior bulbs.Yes, a bad bulb can be shorted,Don't forget the license lights or the rear side markers too. good luck. There is some other stuff on that fuse but, I would look here first.

if it is the tail circuit, the front markers will still be lit...(not being a smart @ss, I promise). The wife came home one night freaked out because that very loop had blown a fuse. I tore out from the radio to the tail lights and found nothing...except those mini fuses start to get expensive after a while....it was my cupholder LEDs...my wiring, my fault.
