Hi all -

for the xB - whats the part number for the ipod jack - I need the plug that mounts into the center console and whatever wiring goes into the harness... I already have the part that goes from the ipod to the plug.

I asked several dealers in my area and their opinion is that it is not offered as a part, it comes with the iPod upgrade. The wire is installed at the factory in the harness and the plug is installed with the upgrade to activate the center console. As far as I have been able to find out, unless you have an '06, the factory harness does not contain the needed connection cable for the iPod.

 

i have an 06 stock radio, i went and bought a stereo jack cable (on both ends) from radio shack $4.99 plug one end into the aux at the center console, one end to the ipod.

and it does work.

ok i read your question again, you already have that cable i was talking about,

i did not need anything else to use the ipod on aux.

 

I believe he is looking for the actual iPod connection not the AUX.
