I was hopping for a h/u that would accept iPod video signal. So a Head unit with a video screen that will show the vid from an iPod. Anything out there, or am I dreaming?

I am guessing you have the Ipod video and you can with a certain cable. It looks like a normal headphone jack but the other end will have the rca hookups.

They usually come with new digital cameras

sorry guys, that only sort of works. The head units aren't great about accepting the iPod as a video source, and you can't control the video with the head unit.

If you have an alpine unit, they have an adapter now that will control the video. It was just released last week, and is currently available in the UK and probably very soon in the US. No word on pricing yet.
