just installed steering wheel interface..
After having the stock HU in for an entire 2 days, i swapped it out for a Pioneer i had in another car of mine. In the process i lost use of the factory steering wheel controls. I knew they made adapters to be able to use it. So, using the magnificant search feature here on Scionlife, i found out what interface was best for my application, the PAC SWI-PS. I got one on Ebay for 48 bucks to the door. It installed super easy, 3 wires plus a resistor. programming, once reading through the instructions a dozen times, takes a few seconds. Works just like stock!!! Even illuminates! I recommend this for anyone who wants the control back!
