looking for something different for my head unit plus i just got new seats and monitors (thanx Bill!!) and i am leaning toward this

anybody have it or heard anything about it? looking to get in the next couple of days.

I really looked at this unit for a long time. But I went with th JVC KD-AR8500 as it has better audio (controls + RMS output.) Enough power output to where I didn't need an amp for the speakers. You will need a sub amp. Much cheaper too. Check out Cardomain.com.

And you can download movie/graphics that even work while you're driving for the "bling" effect.

My thought was; how often are you REALLY going to watch a movie on a 3.5" screen. I have a PSP and the only time I use it for movies is if I'm on a plane.

I've noticed with my unit mounted so high in the dash (XB) that on sunny days, you really can't see the screen anyway.

Maybe if you made a little shade to fit over the top of the unit.....gotta go, sounds like another project!

 

yeah but the jvc KD-AVX2 plays dvd's and yeah i watch movies on my psp all the time but then again at my job i get a 30 minute break every hour
