Default Keep blowing fuses...HELP!!

OK, I'm not sure exactly when the fuse first blew, but I'm guessing it's been about 2 weeks. It's the fuse that lights the tail lights when the headlights are on and that lights the AC and speedo console lights. I know I got a spark when I was messing with my amps power cable when it was slightly loose. I checked my amps ground and all the other cables and nothing seems out of place or loose but everytime I change that fuse and turn the headlights on, it blows. I've been through about 4 of them already and need some type of help so I don't keep buying more just to have them blow again. Any ideas what might be causing this? The only things I have grounded and powered is my amp and my vent LED's.

sounds like your drawing too much power. are you tapped into any wires to the amp, or is it running straight from the battery?

It's running straight from the battery. I know LED's don't take much power so I'm not sure why it's happening.

theres ur problem right there...the LED's are running threw the same power and fuse as your headlights...cuz when ur headlights come on, your LED's light up also...check the wiring very carefully. make sure you didnt tap anything else to it... as an alarm installer, i know that the headlights rest at a negative and then triggers a positive when you switch your lights on. So whats happening to your car is that, when you switch your headlight on, something else is sending a ground(negative) to it at the same time.

Procedures:
Take a test light or a power probe.
Probe your LED wiring that you powered and check the polarity of it.
Make sure it rest at a negative when your lights are off. then make sure its a positive along with the headlights when you switch it on.
If not, disconnect the power to the led's that you added on and make sure no other wire is splicing into. Im pretty sure a chassis ground splice into the wire line some how. Don't turn your headlights on again if it still don't work. you could blow your Headhlight switch relay. If your not capable of fixing it. take it to a shop. Possibly a dealer if you got the cash. if not..come to me..i'm in san jose..

eeeek i didnt catch that in the last post... Put a 550 - 660e ohm ressistor in line between the power and the LED.

No, no, no. My vent LED's are tapped into my stereos power so they turn on when the key is in th ACC position. My amp is what's running direct power from the battery with an inline fuse. I will take your advice and disconnect them and trace the problem that way.
