Does the toyota wiring harness from Toyota allow hookup to any bazooka amplified tube havent found answer thru search if u can answer please help

 

No. You have to use the wiring harness provided by the bazooks manufacturer. It's pretty easy however. You will need to tap in to the rear speakers, both sides. I just soldered wires to the tabs on the speakers to run to the tube. Then you need a 12v fused power wire, at least 12 guage, maybe 10, depending on the power needed. A ground wire and a 12v signal wire used to remotely turn on the amp. The XB has no such wire so I just ran a wire with a dash switch so I could choose to run with or without the sub.

what about the wiring that is pre-installed in the rear right part of the hatch? (the ones for the OEM Bazooka Sub) can they use for any other bazooka sub tube?

 

I don't know about any wiring harness in the back for the bazooka sub? I have had the rear completely disassembled a couple time and there are no extra harness wires back there in mine.

There is no pre-wiring in the Scion XB for a Bazooka sub. I know, I just finished tearing my interior apart and installing the factory Bazooka and that included running the wiring harness from the rear of the head unit to the sub.

 

So the scion wiring harness that goes to the head unit is not compatible with other bazooka pre amped subs? I haave seen on this threadhttps://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...azooka+install
that he uses a cs8a bazooka and wondering if the others have diff connections ? The bazookas im looking at are the bta8200 and bta10200

 

Post on the bazooka.com forum, usually a tech will answer really quickly, or call the 1800 number
and ask for a tech. They helped me hook up stock xb bazooka into another car with a different
harness.
