any tC owner have the kenwood kvt-717dvd? i tried the slide out function in fry's. it seems like it will slide out enough to clear the door. any help would be appreciate. Thank you

 

I have the Kenwood KVT-815 which has the same slide out method and it just barely clears the door. My stereo is mounted at the bottom of the opening and I can still close the door. If I actually press the door a little bit harder I can make the door open and hit the button to make the screen slide out. It looks real clean.
