So I got a used 2005 xB. There was no book or anything. The remote keyless entry works to lock/unlock the passenger door, the two back doors and the hatch, it always works to set off the panic button/alarm, however it doesn't unlock/lock the driver door.
why is this? do i need to reset it? help!

 

Plenty of people have had this problem , replace the drivers door lock actuator. It will solve the problem most likely

 

I have a 2005 XB and the driver door is doing the same thing which I bought the switch but the plastic case that is goes in needs to be replaced and I cannot find a part number or where to buy one. Any suggestions?

 

I have the same issue and orders a universal replacement off Amazon for $10.00 and I am waiting for it to come in

 

I was told from Toyota that you cannot order the casing (shell) only and have to buy it for like $100-200. I am not paying that for a part worth $10.00. Get out the gorilla glue!

 

i have had to replace all my door lock actuators because they fail to easily that is your problem with your driver side one
