You gotta take off the plastic skid guard on the bottom of the car and then just push the tabs down on the covers and they pop right out..very easy...

Thanks for the response guys !! i'm gonna go ahead and put in that one side so ya'll can see what it looks like...atleast for now.
I can tell you though, when looking directly into the leds it WILL blind you.. but move off to the side and your ok... i know the specs for these leds has a 15 degree veiwing angle soo..ya...i guess that has something to do with it.

 

yea, it should be bright as hell looking at them from dead on, but they won't put any usable light on the ground. its more for form over function anyways...and LEDs are cheap!

 

There's a possibility it may do some good for lighting. I use a single LED flashlight for hunting. I puts out a lot of light considering it's just one LED powered by 2 AA batteries. I know the setup is completely different but with that many LEDs something should light up.

The verdict is in! these LEDs are ____ing bright!!!! Dare i say they do the job of a fog light....just look for yourself... :D

I know CA isn't bad for bugs but you may want to cover those. Bugs, dirt, and grime will be a real pain to clean in between all those LEDs.
