Default Leather cover for [xB] tailgate - interior

I picked up this leather at a fabric store. It was pretty easy to do. I used double sided tape on the back all the way around the edges. I left about a 1.5" of matierial to wrap around the edges. Pulled it taunt then stuck the snap pin back through to hold it in place. There is a pic through this link at the bottom of the page.

Take care...

Um, maybe the point is because it looks way better than stock?

Nice job!

I guess it depens who your asking!- I guess I need another pic to have a good opinion. The one he has on his site shows it from a bad angle....

Either way, I think most anything would better than stock. This is the one part I thought was pretty cheap looking/feeling. I plan on doing something, but not sure on the fabric or leather I would use. I think it would also look better if the fasteners were covered by the fabric.

What else in the interior matches that fugly stock cover? Nothing. I think it's a good idea.

well put it this way- were on the xB would the leather cover match the stock interior?- its makes it stick out like a bigger sore thumb than the stock el-chezo felt...

Gee, UnFocused, pardon us for forgetting our purpose in life is to please YOU.

Lighten up. All that matters is that Phishin_Oksy is happy with it.
