Does anyone know if 3mm led's will work to replace the dim stock lights in the radio and behind the A/C controls? I tried the bulb condom approach, but the stock lights aren't bright enough to project well through the blue inserts.

Also, I haven't taken the speedo aprt yet, does it use the same bulbs or SMD LEDs like the clock?
