Line Converter Setting
Mine is made by pheonix gold. To set it I turned the stereo up to about 3/4 of the way then turned a movie on since im running it with my ps2. Then I turned the **** all the way down then turned it up slowly once the light started flashing I backed the **** off a little bit.

One more question guys, sorry to bug you. . . does a line convertor use any power from its source and is it a lot? Secondly, if you have high level inputs on your amp, is there any point in using a line convertor?
Would appreciate any answers, thanks soooo much!!!

Sorry man I cant really help you there not to sure. I am running alot of power off of my stock electrical system and have not had any problems at all I dont believe in capacitors either anyways back to the point.
I used my in line with the rca's for my playstation to keep dvd's from buzzing during play I noticed a HUGE difference and recomend it to anyone. I dont see why you couldnt use it with your amp but it might not be necessary.

Thanks for the replies. . . both of them. I'm worried that if I compromise the mids and highs out of the stock speakers (from pulling power from em off the stock deck). I'll try it out and if it is bad, I guess I'll have to dump the deck. I just love (will love) that 6 disc mp3 changer tho and the color phasing. . .
If your hi/low convertor is adjustable...
Turn the volume up on the radio as far as you can until it starts getting distorted then back it down some...
then turn the convertor signal up until it either gets distorted, or overpowers the vocals...
Does it use signal up? yes a lot? not that anyone would notice...
tap into the rar speakers for signal...
