Lookin into a system for the tC
I was wondering about getting a system for my tC... I wanna make a pretty good looking set up in the back with 2 12"s but nothing to crazy cuz I wanna have money to buy good subs. Systems are becoming a big thing in my town lately, and there's nothing really "BIG" around here... just some rattling civics and 2 $100 10"s from circuit city. I'm lookin to spend up to $250 a sub and $400 for the amp... What would be my best bet? And also do I need to upgrade the stock speakers or no? How much would it help, and what would it cost for a similar "grade" of speaker compared to the subs I'd be getting. I was lookin into JBL but open for opinions....

1 12" is fine no need for two. I have 1 12"

it took up the whole trunk and I'm pretty sure I can kick some 2 12" subs with this beast. I have a PPI A600 amp running to it right now. Looking to upgrade to a bigger amp sooner or later. Also with trying to fit 2 12"s in the trunk of the tC, as you know the trunk isnt that big already. Depending on the subs you gonna either need a really big box, or just a big box for 2 12s. Like what I have is 1 12" and that a 2cu.ft. box.
I would recommend getting the RE sub, Resonant Engineering. The quality I get from the RE sub surpass the quality of JLaudio. Trust me I used to work in a high end car audio shop and dealth with JL and RE just kicks its ___. Also RE isnt that expensive unlike JL which is over priced.
Just a comparison of my RE sub to my old Alpine Type R 10"

But do what you wanna do as long as you can fit it.
