Default Looking for Bass Boost

Looking for the cheapest solution to give the box a boost of bass, I enjoy the sound of my 06 xb but I feel it just suffers on this end. As a working college student cant afford anything major so what would be the cheapest and easiest solution to get some decent bass ?

A powered (or un-powered) bazooka tube would probably be the cheapest way to go.

buy a off brand sub and amp, like boos its not the best stuff in the world but build a enclosure that hides it all and nobody will know but u,u can get a 12 for 15 dollars and amp for less than 60 and make a sealed enclosure.i had 4 12's in my chrysler for a year and never blew 1.

do what i did:

figure this, quality or qauntity?

if you have four 12" Pyramid subwoofers, would they sound better than two 12" kickers???

its more or less the box you use. Ported gives you louder bass, but sealed gives you more "feeling" in your bass.

the cheapest way to obtain more bass is deffinately a trick called FIBERFILL.

its cotton shreads you get at walmart (its found in fabric dpt) and you literally fill the sh*t out of the sealed box.

it tricks your subwoofer into making more bass out of a smaller box.

ofcourse, this depends upon which enclosure you have to begin with...

try it without, and then with the cotton and see if you feel or hear a difference.

and literally, fill the whole box with it. One cotton bag is about $2 and can fill about 1.5 cu feet

Drill 4 holes where you want it.
If you have a back mat, , cut a hole in it.
Then hook it up.

PM me for price I don't know how much it costs to get shipped.

I put a Kenwood KSC-WD250 in my box, I love it.

And it's cheap on the bay, I paid almost 4 times that at BB (damnit!)

I have been interested in that Kenwood sub. That one on eBay is a referb. I wouldn't touch it. Still, you can get them for right around $160 on the net. Amazon.com has them for $159, that's an awesome price. I'm undecided between the one you have ajayaitch, or Kenwood KSC-SW1, which is two 6 1/2 subs that can fit under the passenger seat.
