Is the wiring already there for the factory sub?

 

I think I will buy the kenwood from ebay , I needed a bit more info on it though , anyone pick one up yet ?

 

for the price you'll spend on that, think of this:


one (1) Kicker Comp 12" --> $80 brand new

one (1) Build-Your-Own box Sosche kit from Walmart ---> $30

one (1) 250w RMS Lightning Audio amp from Walmart ---> $100

one (1) Line converter for stock h/u ---> $10 from walmart


and all those are prob. cheaper on ebay or internet, but for under $250, you can get alot of bass from a very simple, small, yet LOUD package.


i did this for my first set up, it was enough bass to be heard from a few hundred feet away at full bass boost, ofcourse Polyfilled.


plus, you'll always have room for expansion b/c you can go with another 12" sub, a larger amp, or a bigger box.

your limited with a bazooka tube or the Kenwood...once you get it, thats really all you can do, unless your buy more tubes or another kenwood

 

Big Lots has some fake unpowered bazooka like bass cannons for 10 bucks, they need an amp.

I have the bass cannon behind my passenger seat and the wiring kit. It is a pass through connector to the radio and about 60 bucks.

It gave me what I was missing.
