I don't want a blue look (cops or otherwise) but brighter lights without some incorrectly housed HID is great.

I had seen your comparison Instigator. I can definitely say that the light is whiter, and I do like that. What you can't tell is if the intensity is actually the same. It looks like it's either slightly brighter or at least as bright, so I'm not worried about it, but as people like to state, usually these white (and especially the purple or blue cast) bulbs get whiter by filtering out some of the light (in this case the yellow) so all in all, it's less light. I'm just in it for the white though - I'm hoping I'll be as lucky as other people and get mine tomorrow

you unplug your headlight, pull the rubber seal off by those little flaps, unclip the spring and the headlight may literally fall out. its in the owners manual. i couldnt figure it out to save my life but ive done it a few times now being as i have both hyper whites and true blues ( them btw) luminics is an outstanding way to go for bulbs.

haha yeah, i feeel stoopid, i looked last night and saw how easy it looked. so how about the foglights are those easy to change?

and what do you think's better, should i get the bulbs, or just get some projector headlights in general...i'm planning on keepnig my box till it dies, so i'm in it for the long run. :-D

Yeah get some projectors....and when you get them instead of installing them take them apart and take out the projector and replace it with an HID projector and you would be god lol.

The choices for us tC folks are a little easier - we don't really have projectors to speak of (other than retros) so I'm just going for the Luminics bulbs instead of some ghetto HID kit. It's cheap and if anyone ever makes quality HID projectors for the right price I can go that route.

HID are much brighter than any stock bulb, including some sort of after market high wattage bulb. It's a whole different technology that halogen would just have a tough time ever matching, especially while staying legal with the amout of watts it uses. Without good projectors, it just goes everywhere.

haha you are a funny man....let me show u a comparsion shot. ok the 1st shot is my stock OEM integra headlight with a flutted lense. The second is a projector from an audi A6 with HID. this isnt a halogen projector to an HID projector comparison but you get the idea .

HID that aren't stock equipment are NEVER legal. It's kind of a stupid law, since if you do it right it's just as good as stock, but it's the law. Take your chances. If you've got it in a professional projector and you keep the color temperature like stock, you're much more likely to get away with it.
