Default "Mirror Control" 'brain' location

Where in the hell under the dash is the "MIRROR CONTROL" box located!?!?!

Tired of tearing the dash apart lookig for that damn thing. It's a little box with a narraw harness on the back of it - says "Mirror Control"right on it - somebody with a repair manual - look it up and be my hero for the day. Thanks.

to to be a smart ___ or anything, but u could always become a premium member and look at the parts microfesche and the repair books. not only would it help you , you'd be helping something that helps you. (if that makes much sense)

just a thought.

already thought of that BigJim, so no, I don't take it as being a smartass, thanks. -- I only noticed that feature a few days ago (I don't access the site through the home page).

I'll find it, it's no big deal

The online manual is about all I can think of that would make an upgraded membership worth it.

First questions....How do you know it says that?? Did u see it before? Or did SOMEONE tell you it was there?

Second question... What do you need it for?? That would help...

What I need it for is to replace it, why do I need to replace it? Project. -- not sure why knowing that makes it easier to locate

Future note to others. After reviewing the online microfiche and repair manuals - i could find no reference to it's location. Tore the entire dash off, no control unit - that bastard is hidden very well (I know it is there, just not WHERE). BUT... doesn't matter, figured out how to wire around it.

and now... finally... my mirrors open and close at the push of a button.

is it the folding mirrors?
i guess its too late for my 2 cents, but would it be nice if that is wired to the accessories so it would unfold when keys are in and fold when keys are out.
