Default More DIY madness: Embossed headliner.

This is pretty much a universal concept. Should work with our cars.

Excuse the translation:

This time, instructing the dress rise method of the ceiling. The re-covering which uses the leather seat is popular, but what this time it introduces is not the simply re-covering, unique DIY which administers embossing finish!!It will try challenging by all means!

Degree of hardness
Cost Approximately 5000 Yen
Job time Approximately 2 days
Material & tool 2 leather seats (for embossing (the thick め)/the ceiling surface), the scissors, the cutter and the bond, the scotch tape, the both sides tape and the roller for bonding, those where the character is drawn, the copy machine

1

First the ceiling is removed to beginning. When the ceiling is removed, cloth of the surface of the ceiling probably will be peeled off to work in order to make easy.

2

Next, preparing those where the character which we would like to emboss and process to the ceiling is drawn. This time, the empty box of the candy is used.

3

Actual size large copying the character which is drawn in the empty box, as in the left figure dividing the paper, it separates. After that, it expands copies each part. It keeps connecting each part which is expanded lastly with the scotch tape.

4

The character paper which it connects, on the leather seat of the thick め is pasted with the both sides tape.
- To picture top

5

When the character paper is pasted, in order to leave only the outline of the character, it keeps cutting the leather seat with the cutter.
- To picture top

6

When cutting ends, peeling off the character paper of the surface, it pastes the leather seat to which has become just the outline on the surface of the ceiling which at the bond, is removed. Thinking of balance, this time, how it arranges, will try to paste.

7

When the character glues securely in the ceiling, the spray paste is blown to the whole ceiling. The leather seat of the taste is pasted from on that.
- To picture top

8

Before the leather seat and the ceiling which you pile up glue completely, using the bonding roller, as in the left figure it keeps administering embossing finish securely.
- To picture top

9

After verifying that it glues completely, if you reset on the basis of the ceiling, it is completion!!

Peace,
m@
