My custom Subwoofer Enclosure
I decided to make my own custom subwoofer enclosure to make some room in my trunk. Here's some pics of it's development and the finished product with the 10" sub. Problem now are some people I know wants me to make one for them.

looks good ... yet wierd at the same time. I would'nt do that but each its own. Also i noticed u put some sort of adhesive for the speaker to bond on around the ring of the enclosure. What if the speaker blows out ?? You will have to make a new enclosure !
^^^ That's not adhesive, that's bathroom silicone which turned like gel after it dries. I just put it around and waited to dry for seal before putting the subs. Hopefully that helps to make it airtight.
how does it sound? I 'm wanting to do something like that for mine but i'm skeptical about the sound quality of the fiberglass. Do they hold up well under a lot of pressure like a high powered 10 or 12?
no luck, i'm in fla. maybe you can make a vid and post it up. how long did it take for you to make? i'm actually trying to make a full trunk setup with an amp rack and 2 10's mounted in. I have the idea in my head I just don't know where to start. I figure I can use wood for most of it and fiberglass the sub enclosures into that.
I like it alot. looks pretty good , I wouldnt have made the terminals visible like that but the sub looks clean. is that sub any good ? I was looking into buying them but was unsure. good job bro !!!
call me old fashioned but, i think fiberglass should always be painted. carpet doesnt look right all wavy like that. still all im gonna have is a standard box, so urs is better in that aspect!
good work
