Default Navigation with BlueTooth?

So I've been mentally going over the math about getting one of those nice Double DIN Nav units. As everyone knows, there are maybe 3 or 4 to choose from, they're all a ripoff and they all look really nice. I know I could get a pocket PC for Nav for like $400. I could get a $100 bluetooth GPS thing for my laptop for like $100. I could just use a map. But I don't want to. I want one of the in-dash, double DIN units. But I'm not going to pay $1500+ for it.

I was thinking some more, and one of the things I really like in my dad's prius is the integration of BlueTooth with the nav unit. You can answer incoming calls on it. You can pull up point of interest info on the Nav and it can dial your phone right from that screen - things like that. Does anyone know anything about an aftermarket unit with BlueTooth that has these sort of features? You couldn't steal the unit out of a Prius if you tried - it uses hard buttons that are built into the car. Anyone know of anyone planning this? High end units have got to start getting more features or costing less soon...

Yeah I know... but then you end up with a CarPC. I'm a total techno weenie. I've been working on computers professionally for almost 10 years. If this was my old car I might try it, but the tC is my baby and I want something that just works and that looks good. I don't want to be pulling apart my dash all the time. I don't have the coding background to tweak everything until it's just right. I just need it to be right.

If you had a CarPC and could show me everything working, I might even go for it. Since everyone just talks about CarPCs like they're a magic solution to things, I tend to think it isn't.

mp3car.com<-- most of the software for pretty much everything you need is on there and all the know how. Idk, its just a cheap solution thats pretty badass if you can do it.
