Default Need part number.

I did some searching, but didn't find what I needed. 2006.5 xB, only has the aux port under the e-brake. If I want to install the ipod adapter cable right above it that is an option, what part/cable do I need and how hard is it? Is there a DIY, write up?

Thanks.

dont go thru toyota, find one on ebay or something, i searched around for 2 years for the ipod cable and finally found one on ebay for $60 shipped, the dealer wanted like a couple hundred.

i remember seeing one for sale in the classifieds for a really good price let me see if i can pull up the link.

and jump on that deal, all the wiring is there its just plug and play and you cant beat it for that price, hope this helps you.

that is a great price, but it doesn't look long enough to go from the radio, underneath the console to the hook up under the e-brake??

all the wiring is already in your car, you just dont have the "jack" if you pop your center console out you will see a plug wrapped in foam and tape, that is what the jack plugs into...

the xB is already wired up for all the factory accessories, even if it didnt come with it, you even have all the wiring in there for fog lights (if you dont already have them) all you need to buy is the housings and a switch i believe.

thanks for the help! I found a DIY for removing the stock radio, but what about the shift selector area so I can plug in the adapter?

there should be one screw in the rear of the area between the seats and all you have to do to the front is pull up and it will pop out and you can lift it up.
