hey just wanted to know what speakers are good out there, i have the ipod HU. i just have some type s in the front door and a sub. i plan on switching out all speakers. just need to know what speakers are good at not such a high price.

 

look for speakers that are effecient in other words they have more output..an expale would be some that put out aound 94-5db @ 1w/1m

Are you going for sound quality, affordability, or somewhere in between? because your question is pretty vague.

If you are going for affordability, go with the alpine type S component, they should run you around 200 bucks at your local shop, or cheaper on the internet.

If you are looking for somewhat affordable, but great quality go with diamond audio.. anything but the d3 series.

If price is no object, Morel is by FAR the best sounding speaker on the market right now as far as mid range goes.

 

i would say polk audio is great for mid and highs
for woofers thats depends wich kind of bass you like.

 

oh sorry. i was looking for the 100-150 range for the rear speaker. and 100 for the front 3-4" speakers.
