Neon Kit you Security System
I have a neon kit on my xB. I was wondering if anyone has hooked up the neon kit to the Security System. So when you unlock it and lock it the blinker lights that the neon would come on. Would anyone know how to do this? Or what cord i would have to attach the neon to?
...your going to need some relays tho

Oh the one I'm getting for my xB. has seven different colors, different light simulations and comes with remote. when i get it i'm gonna make it do the ufo simulations where its starts from the front the rotates all the way around back to the front like a ufo when i hit my unlock/lock. Uuuuuugghhhh.

I am not the best at drawing, but this will give you an idea. The drawing of the relay is what it looks like underneath. You can buy SPDT relays anywhere alarms or Autoparts are sold (like Pep Boys). If your alarm has a programable "latched" output, this will work. If your alarm only has momentary outputs, you'll need a different set up.

I'm pretty sure the OEM alarm is Momentary output, here's the diagram I went off of
Make sure the 12V Constant is Constant, I missed that part and had to rewire

I added a switch onto it with diodes(make sure you note on where the stripe of the diode) so you can turn on or off your lights as you please. With this setup once you take the key off from ignition and press on your keyless the Undercar kit will flash the same time as your parking lights.

I was thinking the same thing..... to have a underglow along with the alarm.................? But I don't understand what those diagrams mean. I'll pay for it, if someone can do it? So is there only one person with lights intermingled with the alarm
