Thats hilarious. I was playing a NES emulator on my xbox the other day, and a friend of mine (stupid friend) asked me and I quote: "Where do you put the cartridge?"

Me: "I am now dumber for hearing that question and may God have mercy on our soul."

Then I had to explain to him twice that it wasn't a real NES I was playing but a software emulator. He then said: "I still don't understand."

I chose to piggy back the fuses instead of a direct wire. Less Hassle, less problems.
Red,
One question/concern. Do you have an additional fuse in line with this power wire or are you using the fuse in the block as protection?
It will probably never matter, but from the picture it looks like your water temp gauge is getting power from the protected side of the fuse and your carputer is connected to the other side of the fuse (i.e. unfused). Just don't want anything to accidentally get fried. Other than that it looks great.

no the wire coming out of the 10 fuse is just a power line for the light in my gauge (voltage and everything is stable and fine and doesn't necessitate a fuse) and the 15 fuse is just the fuse for the ignition to the carputer. there is no constant power coming form that line. Its just to tell the computer to turn on, once the computer is on that wire is no longer pulling power.

But if your wondering about the constant power or the actual box. Then yes that does have a fuse connected to it. Its a 10 amp fuse integrated into the power supply. Also my carputer as a whole doesnt pull more then about half of what the power supply is rated at. so im not that worried. but thanks for the concern.

One thing I have always wondered is how you would get am/fm after the carputer install.

Ok... so are you using the head unit to power the speakers, and have the computer sound going through the head unit?

Where is your head unit now?

right, I put the headunit where the "easy-bake-oven"/storage unit was. it doesn't screw in to anything so the silver plastic pieces are just forcing it in there. It takes some force harsh words and about 30 min, but easy to do.
