interesting. i've seen this done before but with 4 racoing seats. did you have to do any modification or drilling for the 4 bolts in the seats? if it;'s as easy as it seems i might have to go to the scrapyard and pick up a pair of seats and kiss the bench goodbye.

well, i pretty much made the old xB seats usless to use in a xB again. I had to drill a few holes in the old brakets to get the bottom half of the sliders to come off, the other half stayed on the seat. Im going to pick up some metal and build brakets for the back seats.

my wifes xB has sliders on it, so taking the bottom half i took from the old xB seats, they have the everything i need, im going to bolt them on and should fit right in, only thing is, the seats will sit a bit higher than stock seats, ill post some pics, kinda hard to describe!!!

You had to drill out the rivets in order to tale the slider rails apart, right?

for now, ive hit a dead spot for tonight. I need a little more aluminum and a few more spacers to beef things up. mounting the seats to these brackets will be a bit difficult, but i think i can get them mounted marrow tonight!!

i got one seat installed. I used a square stock of aluminum and one on each underside of the seat. Then used U-clamps to tighten it all together. There were pre-drilled holes in the brackets. ill have posts up soon.

remind me not to go for a ride in your back seat. that soft aluminum will not hold those seats in the event of a collision.
