Default New Box Design

I decided to add some more character to my enclosure... Let me know what you all think. Good or Bad

The box itself is a fiberglass enclosure that has a plexi top, mirrored inside lit up with blue neon. I have made suede panels to clean it up a little more and am going to have plexi pieces cut for the top and in front of the sub that will have my team logo and and kicker logo. Both panels will lite up with leds.

Before...

After...

Here are some pics of the F90bt and mic/gps placement...

Is there enough room for the speaker to reach full excursion, w/o hitting the hatch?

I like the way the finisher pannels look and the 2 tone looks really nice. not too keen on the carbon fiber dash stick on's but hey, to each his own!

also, may be the angle of the pic, but it looks like your muffler tip is in prime position for bumper meltage.. if its leaning to one side, you may want to stabilize it with some zip ties to keep it center... if it's just the angle of the pic then no worries!

I would've hidden the mic and gps antenna a little better though.

Agreed... I have my GPS antenna underneath the passenger side dash speaker. Have the mic hidden behind the rear view mirror.

Yes the speaker has enough room without any problems and it really bumps.

The carbon dash was the first mod I did when I got the car. I am going to get the dash painted eventually.

I was worried if I hid the mic too much it would not pick up my voice and the voice activated ipod controls would be crap. Also I was going to put the antenna under my speaker pod but thought with the fiberglass pod would affect the reception. I actually had it under the dash by the radio but was not getting signal?

thanks for the comments. I hope to have the plexi panels soon.

Thanks.

I was really trying to have it flow with the new seat covers better. I think the suede accomplished what I was going for. I think the lighted plexi panels will give it the show flare too.
