Default ok, here's what I did,

I changed the two bulbs on the back of the a/c controls. (in above pic, the two gray things with phillips heads)

then I used the short flexi led strips from oznium.com and kinda stuffed them down behind the controls, There is a blue led behind the blue temp i used a red led on the red side, of course, and the opposite side has a slightly longer white led strip.

routed the wires over to one side and crimped on some spade ends and put some snap-on taps on the white and green wire from the main (biggest) harness. I marked the posi with black tape

Here's what it looks like, Sorry it's blurry. Very Impressive, much brighter, and cheap!

Thats pretty cool, a bit messy. Are those 1.2 Flex strips?

Yes. I think they are 1.2 red and blue strips and the white strip is a little longer, 2.4 maybe. My pic really doesn't do it justice. It looks very nice and bright. I have a new head unit now. I was in the process of changing all the lights from amber to white and that OEM head unit stuck out like a sore thumb.

Anyone changed the A/C indicator led? I couldn't really get to it.

Dang, looks like I have a light out. Man, all that I was saying about changing the lights and adding LED's. Apparently I need to re-read this post!

Just got mine in the mail today and installed. What a difference. How can I change the color behind the mileage counter and stereo to White as well?

The stereo is a PITA. You're almost better off buying a new headunit that has an illumination that you like. It's easier to change everything to match the headunit.

The clock/ODO require soldering four LEDs (I forget what size though)
