The kenwood is nice also - I like having the nav just so I can see where I am in relation to other cities, etc. It's good for going on trips and finding some cool little places to eat without worrying about getting lost...

Yes - you can watch DVDs while the car is in motion. I grounded the parking break wire so you can do whatever while in motion.
Yes you can hook up a PS2 with or without the rear view camera (it uses its own special plug on the back).

I wired my ipod cable and my aux-input cables down to the little cubby whole beneath the climate area so if I ever need to hook up something quickly (vid-cam or ps2/xbox) I can just plug it in there.

Yay, you joined the Eclipse family. ;)

I like the Kenwood DDX unit for its expandability, but I got the Eclipse unit because it was an all-in-one solution and it sounds great...

I agree, the MP3 playback sucks. It really bogs down the system, but at least it does play MP3. I'm thinking about hooking up satellite radio to the AUX input, so that might be next on the list of things to get.

The screen flips down and has two slots - one for dvd, one for cd.

The ignition was on "acc" I believe and all the dash lights lit up...or it might be my "maint req" one (due for oil change soon). All is good, no CEL

The navigation is incredibly accurate. The Fujitsu Ten navigation is also used by the OEM Toyota Camry navigation system. I like how the unit looks in the tC better on the xB though. Maybe I'll have to trade in my car... but if I did that, I'd probably end up doing a 2005 Acura TL conversion, much like TheRedBox. ;)

It's pretty long. Uhm. I initially ran it around the entire car onto my roof in the rear... but now it's actually mounted against the top of the dash right underneath my windshield... it works there too.

The monitor is slick, what did that (eclipse?) set you back? I stuck the DDX7015 in mine for price point. Though I miss my old eclipse unit. =(

Default *haha*

*lol*

Thats funny as hell... hate it when people jack your pictures.

How hard is it to take a pic on your own... digital cameras are like nothing these days.
