that box was on ebay for 200 two weeks ago with the ID woofer and did not sell.

 

That is the SPFR box.
You have to use that sub(Image Dynamice).Unless you can find another shallow depth one.
Pretty easy install.I imagine that there will be a lot a bids on it.I am satisfied with mine.

 

Have someone make a fiberglass box for you, or make it yourself for the same price or less....

I never saw that one listed - musta overlooekd it. Someone just tried to sell a SPFR type box that was painted Lava for a 12" sub, ended just the other day... the highest bid it got was like $85... didn't sell either (stayed under the reserve).

I remember this box... too bad it didn't sell, it's a really nice looking part. The price killed it for me though. I still prefer a standard box because I can't give up the small storage space... that's where I have my inverter for my ps2 and my sub amp.

 

yeah, I would love to get a spfr style enclosure but my amp is there. I know someone just made a spfr stlye fiberglass enclosure for the same spot(another topic). Looked great.

i was just notified by ebay that i had the winning bid on that sub enclosure-and sub,i think i got it for a good price,122.50,what does everybody think,i bought it for my niece's xb,for christmas

 

pretty decent price (assuming shipping is a raping for another bill or two).

eventually I'll get off my ___ and build my "SPFR style" dual side box so I can get both AlumaQ 12's to sit flush and I wont lose the floor. (once the motivation hits to relocate the spare... maybe never...)

If you hear my 8's you'd switch ;-) That's the problem.. everyone thinks small subs are a joke. But they sound good.

 

Jerry, I know what you mean, I am running a single ten and people are blown away, i have had thoughts about a eight under eac seat, i know it would crank and sound so tight, I love the bass from eights. Bill
