Ordered a black standard leather steering wheel cover from wheelskins.com, with shipping was $50.00.

Install took about 1.5 hours ... dang ! I was glad to be thru stitching that thing on !!!

Looks pretty good ... a little wrinkeling around the spokes, but after all, it is leather. Adds a thicker look and feel to the wheel ... I was satisfied with the outcome. They come in 2-tone also ... if you have a silver xB, the silver and black would look really cool i bet since the interior has a lot of silver trim.

Anyway ... hope my little mod post didn't put you to sleep.

The center of the wheel looks a greyish color due to the flash, but in regular light, all black. JB

Hmm... I would've preferred the see the wrap extend up the spokes.
The wheel in the tC (the RS1 at least) has a leather wrapped wheel, I'd rather transplant that one.

 

Yeah ... ya could do that, or get the "optional" XB leather wheel from toyota ... gonna cost ya though ! The wheelskin is fairly in expensive. JB
