Default Opinions and help on '05 Xb audio system

Alright, this is what i was going to go with here. everything is ordered with the exception of the speakers due to the fact that i keep hearing new and new things about the ACTUAL speaker size holes on the Xb. onto what i am i have and plan on purchasing:

(2) JL Audio 12w3v2 (<---- would only one in a vented enclosure push pretty damn hard?)

Audiobahn 4 channel A4004T-- 100x4 @ 2 ohms

Audiobahn 2 channel A8002T-- 400x2@ 2 ohms, 800x1 mono

6.5" MB quart PCE series coaxials in front door.

6.5" MB quart PCE series coaxials in rear

4" MB quart PCE series coaxial in dash

I plan on powering the 6.5"s with the amp(A4004T) and the front dash 4"s with the head unit. i will keep the fading towards the front so that i get that "concert front" feeling.
I have 1 JL audio 12w3v2 that i will power with 300 watts from the A8002T. that should hit pretty hard, but i already have the amp, should i just get another 12w3v2 and give each one about 300 watts RMS and just pound some FAT BASS? what would you do??

questions:

1) i know 6.5"s fit in the front door. but what is the mounting depth that is acceptable before the window gets caught? (or will a fabricated plate inevitable)

2) 4" will fit in the dash right?

3) i plan on going with all coaxials becuase i love how efficient they are and i always get good sound out of them (plus they are just ....easy). but what are some of your views on this?

4) will the head unit be able to properly power the 4" dash speakers, or should i power the dash and the front doors with the amp and not the rears (i am not much for rear fill anyways)? your opinions.

Thank you and i love my new Xb!!

Rock on, Shivan

I wouldn't run front coaxials. Better off looking into components. I know they might be a hassle to install but worth it. Audiobahn not my first selection on amps but they should do. The subs and rear coaxials should be fine. The front doors can hold I think about a 2.5" deep speaker but i'm not positive on that. I know someone on this site has a set of CDT CL61's in his box and I know those are about 2.5-2.75 deep, he just made a 1/2" mdf spacer.

go with something a little less... yeah... how much are you looking to spend? if i was going to guess you're slated to spend over 13 or 14 hundred bucks on that equipment easy. for that money you could get some crazy better stuff.

go with 1 15 RE SX in a ported enclosure.

hifonics bx1500d or 1000d, whichever suits the needs of the voice coils

get some CDT mids and highs

soundstream or cadence amps for the mids.

lots of sound deadening.

just a thought but there are great alternatives that will sound just as good or better, and cost less.
