Has anyone ever bought the LED Dome light kit from oznium.com for the scion xb? I want to buy one, but i don't know what the correct size is for the bulb. They have 1.5 x 1.5 and 2.0 x 2.0". They come in 16 led's and 25 led bulbs. I want the blue one but oznium doesn't know the correct size for the xb, 1st gen. HELP!

 

I bought the 16 led dome light (in blue), it will fit but you have to remove the adhesive padding so it is just the circuit board or it won't fit.

Our dome light cover is tapered and with the padding on it is too big to fit under the cover.

The cool thing is that with the padding removed it fits perfectly between the 2 little plastic rails molded into the dome light housing. (you will know what i'm talking about when you pull off the dome light cover) No adhesive needed it sits in there perfectly and you won't believe how much light it puts out!!! The whole interior lights up!!

 

Does the led dome still fade like the factory one or does it just turn off?

 

glad to hear the 16LED works. I tried to the 25LED when it first came out and it wouldnt fit no matter what i tired

might try the 16LED one now

 

yeah it fades just like stock, but man I can't tell you how freaking bright it is. holy crap!

 

Just ordered mine today. Man I'm glad you started this thread. I had no idea this was even out there. Soon as I seen it I had to order one.

 

superboxcarxb, you might want to change the topic to OZNIUM.COM LED DOME LIGHT. I think it would get a lot more responses and interest.

 

i just got the 16 and can't fit it into the dome of the xB even without the foam, and placing it in between the rails.

bright as all get out though. when it's on in the daytime, it looks like there's a sunroof.

 

you have to put it a little towards the switch and it is still tight, but mine fit and it looks SICK!

You can get them in red, right? I have two dome lights, should light up the interior like a ****.

I've got purple cathodes all thru the car and after finding that there is no LED that will mimic that color, I figured why not use a complimentary color...

when I throw the lights in the box, it looks like sunset. beautiful.

photographers have long known about the fantastic effects produced by those two colors of light, i figured why not.

but enough with the TJ. I finally got my 16 to fit with the cover on. still bulges a bit, but it works. I took another shot at it today and found one of the wires was folded over under the no-foam board, and it made that much difference.

 

Yep, that is what color I ordered to go along with my red cathodes throughout the interior.

I just got an email saying mine would be here in 2-3 days. Hopefully I can get them installed the day they come in or at least the next day, then I'll post pics. I definitly want to have them done before Ohio Exposed. I have the 4" cathodes in the panic handles, I ordered 12" cathodes for under the seats and dash and the dome light so my box should glow really bright.
