Default Perrin Gauge Housing Installed

Dual Perrin gauge pod, painted black, with VDO Vision Voltmeter and Engine Vacuum gauges. I had to make spacers to fit in the 52mm gauges and rear caps that were painted silver to match interior trim.

I will post night pics as soon as i finish the wiring. Took me some time to figure out the dimming part since i wanted that to adjust the same way as the speedometer etc.
I also have the Scangauge and its a great thing to have on the car, but i am yet to figure out how to mount it so that it flows with the rest of the dash.

Very nice! got a link for the model # of the pod? Did you have to drill or do anything permanent to the car?

Had to make 3 holes in the top plastic steering column cover.

Very clean.

If I ever boost, that's gonna be my solution.

Thanks for the link.

Do you think it's possible to mount the gauges with just double sided tape?

man looks real clean, the gauges look like they belong there. I'm between your set up and drilling the dash to fit 3 gauges just dont know how hard it will be to run the wires

I know, the night shots... I am adding the Scangauge to the top of the pod right now, so i had to pull the whole setup from the car for the moment. Hope the whole thing is gonna look together fine. Thanks for your interest, i will not forget to post the updates.

Are those gauges that deep, or do the caps just allow for A LOT of extra space? My Prosports only go to about the I in Perrin...

Only about 1/4 in free space left behind the wiring. The gauges are not very deep, but the light bulb holder sticks out a bit. The pod didn't come with caps or spacers to fit 52mm gauges, so i just made them out of black ABS piping from H-Depot.
