Default PIAA Super Plasma GT-X

Just added some PIAA Super Plasma GT-X bulbs to the xA and changed the front parking lights from clear to yellow. The headlights look awesome with the White/Blue headlights and yellow parking lightsin the same housing.

The headlights and fogs are extremely bright now and look just great. When they say 30% brighter, they mean it.

Cost $150.00 with shipping, but worth it.

WOW! $150 for bulbs!!

Any pics to compare them to stock? I just couldn't see spending that much on lightbulbs, unless they drastically improve night vision.... And that doesn't mean just being brighter.

Sure hope you didn't touch the bulbs when you installed them. Something that some people often overlook...

No pics, but they really do work good - can definitely see much better, and yeah, they do look really cool besides. Anyways, I can change back anytime I want to just by geting new bulbs. Plus, it only took 1hour to install and no wiring, conversions or anything else. Stupid simple to do.

Part of the reason the bulbs are so expensive is the Quartz glass and special alloy metals and Plasma gas used. They are also individually shock tested to 20g's so they are very durable. If they actually do get a 20g hit, I've got bigger problems than the bulbs! You definitely pay up the yazoo for the quality. But like I say, better to spend the money on the headlights than up your nose!

When installing the fog light bulbs you need to jack the car up and remove part of the lower splash guards to get to the bulbs. Of course I like to be safe and use Jack stands. Then you actually have to put everything away when you're done. Hey wait a minute, why do I need to explain that........

I'd like to know who could change all 4 of their bulbs including the fog light bulbs in 5 minutes. In fact, I think if you're that good you'd probably be of some real use to the Winston Cup guys.

Headlights are easy. 10 minutes and a few scraped knuckles.
