pillars falling off?

Default pillars falling off?

My center pillars in my 05 xB are allways falling off the only thing stopping them is the seatbelt. anyone else having this issue?

Id take it into the dealership that kinda thing is under warranty.

the clips holding the b-pillars are quite fragile. You haven't had them removed for a tv install or anything? I've seen them break really easy.

they were removed when i got T-bonned back in november, i took them off today and the clips are broken, does anyone know if painting these will void the warrenty

a couple dabs of silcone will keep them on

silicon sealer is adhesive, but there's better glues to use . You can bet they broke them when they did the repair. The place that should replace them is the garage that fixed the car.

i tried that but because they didnt start to fall till over 30 days after it was in the shop, they wont do anything about it

you are right.superjeer..as to who fixes it..but you would be suprized as to what silcone can do..i work on million dollar motor coaches..guess what they use to hold most of the interior together...silcone..and belive me it is a _____ to get them apart..........

Painting the pillars won't void your warranty.

ok ill just go to the dealership wedsday, are the little clips that hold the panel on the hatch covered by warrenty??

Did you pull the panels off to paint them? If you did good luck with the dealership, they'll just say you broke them when you painted them. Even if you didn't pull the panels off they could still say you pulled them off and not cover the damage. I feel for ya man, good luck and cross your fingers maybe they will work with yeah.

The plastic thingy prolly broke or bent on the process when you put them back on. Good luck

well i took it in today and since the body shop removed it its not covered by warrenty and since it fell off after the 90 day garenty(i know that isnt spelled right so no need to point it out) the body shop wont cover it, so i had to pay for it $ 84 for ONE of the B-pillars

i broke one of the upper clips on a b pillar still holds in tho.
