Default Pioneer components compatibility advice needed....

Hello,
I was going to get the single-DIN Pioneer DVD/CD/MP3 player, and was going to run it with a TV tuner, didn't know if you could run a TV tuner with this head unit....

the Head Unit model # is:
Pioneer DVH-P5000MP
the TV Tuner model # is:
Pioneer GEX-P6400TV

Also, i was going to get the auxiliary input adapter for my ipod (this headunit says auxiliary input "optional".... i'm assuming we have to buy this: Pioneer CD-RB20 auxiliary input adapter). Does anyone know if this is true?

Also, i have the clarion VRX935 right now, the flip-out proaudio dvd player. I am getting rid of it b/c it doesn't play my burned DVDs.... (and its old).

does anyone know if the Pioneer DVH-P5000MP plays burned DVDs? anyone have this unit?

i thank you very much.

You do need a CDRB20, if you get the pioneer tv tuner.

I am not sure if it plays burned dvd's well however

thanks for the reply!

so the CDRB20 would be necessary to run the tv tuner, and this isn't even including the ipod??? so i could conceivably only run one, not both then?

thanks!

I heard the tv tuner is horrible. It does not receive good reception.

The CDRB10 is slightly cheaper, however it does not allow "daisy chaining" of another source.

Good luck
