Default PIONEER IPOD ADAPTER

Hey everyone,
I just bought an xB!!!!!!!!!! (it's about time)

I went to the pioneer website to look at some navi-systems and ended up finding a press article about Pioneer's new ipod adapter.

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...756407,00.html

I was wondering if anyone knew anymore about this product coming out in march. I hope it will work with the standard Pioneer systems that come with the Scions because FM transmitters are not cutting it.

Thanks for any info.

The stock unit is not compatible with any of pioneer's accessories. It does not use the same connectors and does not use pioneers connection language

johnnyicesae,
I doubt the CD-IB100 will work with the scion radio. You better off trying the ipod2car of the PA10-TOY which i have on order for my Sienna. They allow you to control the ipod from the factory radio and steering wheel controls.

That looks like a pretty good product but it doesn't have the listing of the song on the dash. I know I'm picky but I heard a thing about how scion is going to do what BMW did and have a seamless adapter with the stock unit. Post a thread if you guys find anything or know anything about this rumor

Even CEO of apple said Scion was doing this!
